KOCHOW BUILDING IN BENTONG WALK STREET

In 1962, KOCHOW Building has come out as a Chinese guildhall for those people who come from China. The purpose of this building was to gather Chinese, to make them as a rally and promoting the Chinese culture in Malaysia. It helps to protect the benefit of their members. This building has build for almost 57 years.

Design Planning

Bentong has the problem of aging population, which means the youngster are leaving the town and get a job from other area. As our target building, KOCHOW Building will be design as an art gallery with cafe to help Bentong to keep their future generation stay and working on the local and makes the town lively and interesting.

So after the design, people can having fun with those tradisional Chinese games (Chinese chess, Reversi,and Huarong Road)and some Chinese music instrument (Gong,Guzheng,and Lute), elderly can also drinking coffee or tea there to spent their leisure time.
